Colgate Romance

The Theater of Romance was a romantic drama show that aired from 1944 to 1948. First conceived in New York, the show moved to Hollywood in 1945. Various actors and actresses were given their respective roles in each episode, which featured love stories adapted from historical fiction and classic movies. The show, which was primarily sponsored by the Colgate Company, was the 30-minute version of another romantic show called Lux Radio Theater.
